This jungle hotel in Guatemala is an amazing place in the middle of the Guatemalan jungle. If you say here, you will be in the thick of it! Surrounded by luscious greenery, the Rio Dulce (the river), and abundant wildlife, I had a lovely time staying at Finca Tatin. While there, I got to meet a couple baby toucans who were orphaned in the wild and were being rehabilitated by the staff of the hotel. Hotel Finca Tatin offers a number of attractions including a Belize tour, kayaking, rope swinging, bird watching, hiking, sweat lodge, and more.
Hotel Finca Tatin is located right off the Rio Dulce, which is the river you will travel on by boat to get to the hotel. Did I mention there are no roads that lead to Finca Tatin? The only way to get there is via a wonderful boat ride. This is a definite on my list!!
